She knows what she wants out of life and is willing to do whatever it takes to get it done. When she sets her mind to something, she is determined to get it done. In Charlotte’s mind, failure is not an option and success is vital. The thought of failing terrifies her, honestly, so she works hard to avoid it. She tends to really beat herself up when she does fail at something. She’s a bit of a perfectionist, you could say. She has big dreams in life and is willing to work hard to see them become reality. This all makes her a bit on the stubborn side and once she decides something, it’s practically impossible to convince her to change her mind. Charlotte exhibits the traits of a natural-born leader. She likes to be in charge and in control. She honestly hates it when things aren’t able to be done her way, though for appearance’s sake, she tries not to let it show. She is actually quite concerned with keeping up a good image in the eyes of others. After all, if she wants to become Minister one day, she has to make the people like her. It makes her tend to be a bit on the manipulative side, for she sees no problem in getting what she wants by allowing people to see what they want to see. Because of this, she also tends to be a pretty good liar…don’t politicians have to be? She’s very out-going and enjoys being around people. For the most part, she gets along well with others and likes to think she’s a fairly likeable person. She does tend to be on the arrogant side and thinks she is better than others, but once again, it’s something she does a good job of hiding. She’s a master of hiding her emotions and it tends to be difficult to tell what she’s actually thinking. She also tends to be a bit of a firecracker and is by no means a pushover. Overall, she’s a pretty good person and just wants to make the world a better place. [style=background-color: #9ACFE0; width: 485px; height: 10px;] nationality: British/Chinese hometown: Holyhead, Wales financial status: Upper-class parents: Roger Davies, father; Cho Chang, mother; siblings: None others: Various aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. familiar: A grey tabby-cat by the name of Lex history: Roger and Cho Davies welcomed their first (and only) child into the world on the morning of May Fourteenth. She was named Charlotte, a name both parents had agreed on and loved, and was given no middle name (Cho thought the whole idea of middle names was quite ridiculous). From the moment she was born, they were sure she would be destined for greatness. After all, both of her parents had survived Voldemort’s reign and had landed successful jobs at the Ministry of Magic. They were determined to support and encourage their daughter in whatever it was she did. With such kind and loving parents, how could she not turn out great? Even as a young child, Charlotte tended to be quite the busy body. While she was never a trouble maker, (quite the opposite actually, for she exhibited a strong sense of right and wrong), she was very curious and always into everything. She liked to learn things and be in the know. She held an interest in politics and proved to be quite ambitious in everything she did. At the age of five, she had decided she was going to become a professional Quidditch player. Considering both of her parents held a love for Quidditch, she had been introduced to the sport at a young age. While she exhibited talent in it, it didn’t take long before she was changing her mind. At the age of seven, she had decided that she was going to become Minister for Magic one day and has been determined to do so ever since. At age eleven, she received her Hogwarts letter. While it was no surprise, it was still a happy moment for the young girl. After all, what little child that grew up in a wizarding family didn’t hear stories of Hogwarts and dream about attending the great school? She was eager to go and start learning magic, meet new people, and, of course, play Quidditch. Both of her parents had been in Ravenclaw, and it was the house she wanted to be in as well. After all, it seemed like a good house for a future Minister to be in, for it would show that she was intelligent and had determination. Not to mention, she was sure her parents would be proud if she was sorted into Ravenclaw, and what was better than making one’s parents proud? Her first night at Hogwarts was one she would never forget. Everything about it was amazing: riding the Hogwarts express, riding the boats across the lake, entering the Great Hall and seeing all of the students gathered, and being sorted into Ravenclaw. It was a wonderful feeling, being welcomed into a new house… The feast was great, the dorms were amazing…yes, she was pretty sure her first night sleeping at Hogwarts had been the best night of sleep ever. Then there were the classes. Despite that there were some classes (such as Divination, History of Magic, and Transfiguration) that Charlotte struggled with, she was determined to work her hardest and keep up good marks in all of them. After all, she tends to be a bit of a perfectionist and hates failing, so even the classes that were hard, she wanted to do her best in. With an attitude like this, she is able to do well in most of her classes and did fairly well on her O.W.L.s when they came along. Defense Against the Dark Arts and Potions are by far her strongest subjects, but overall, she does well in school and is focused on her education. In her fourth year, there was an opening for the Seeker position on the Quidditch team, in which she was able to take and does fairly well at. Her time at Hogwarts, for the most part, has been pretty good and she seems to be fairly well-liked amongst her classmates. Now, in her final year at Hogwarts, Charlotte is still determined to be Minister one day. However, with the new rising conflict, she’s made a slight change in her plans. She wants to be able to stop these dark wizards and bring peace to the wizarding world once more. She plans on going into the Auror program after she finishes her last year. That way she’ll be able to fight against the dark wizards and, hopefully, really be able to build herself up to become Minister one day (it seemed to work for Kingsley Shacklebolt, after all). Nothing is going to stop this ambitious young woman. [style=background-color: #9ACFE0; width: 485px; height: 10px;] alias: Brekka age: Seventeen rp experience: Too long xD [/style] [/style] |
