She was practically buzzing with joy about the fact that she was finally going back to Hogwarts. She liked spending time with her family, but she felt much more at home and alive at school. She was one of those few people who, well, liked learning. and doing homework. and studying. It was probably odd that a Slytherin such as herself was so happy. A few muggles passing by were even giving her weird looks, but that could have been because she was smiling like a fool while staring at a wall.
"Please stand still darling, you're going to cause a scene, " her mother scolded. Juliette ignored her. She no longer had to constantly be trying to be a...'proper young lady' as her mother liked to put it. She could do what she wanted, no rules. Aside from those set by the Headmistress anyway. "Just go through already!" Juliette's mother insisted. Juliette had been staring so intently at the wall before her that you would have though a hole was burning its way through. Her mother's words snapped her out of her fixation and soon she was running, luggage in tow, toward it. She hadn't even checked to see if any muggles were watching, but before she knew it she was on the other side and the Hogwarts Express stood before her. Her parents followed and she presumed so did her sister.
"Now I don't want to hear you two getting into trouble this year," Juliette's father said with a serious expression on his face. It quickly changed into a smile. "But don't feel afraid to mess with a few first years." The family laughed, and Juliette hugged her father, giving him a peck on the cheek before retreating to her mother, whom she did the same to. Her mother whispered in her ear at the same time, "Try and lock things in with Scorpius this year, huh?" Juliette raised a skeptical eyebrow as they released each other from embrace. They said their final good byes and she turned to leave.
"Where do you want to sit? Do you think my friends are here yet? I think we should just sit together!" Juliette rambled as she walked over to the pile of luggage that was being loaded onto the train. She placed her belongings there other than her carry on, and turned toward the train.
The Hogwarts express. There was no more exciting train in the entire world than this red beauty. It had took her to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry every year ever since she was eleven and this year it would be taking her to the school for her sixth year. Thankfully she was done with her O.W.L's and would now be able to focus on her career. Her fall back career anyway. What she really wanted to be was a baker, but that was a secret. Her current fall back was an Auror or at least someone who worked with dark magic. That was her favorite topic, for reasons unknown. But she supposed that was why she was a Slytherin. That and the fact that she wasn't always the nicest person.
Juliette stepped up onto train and soon began traveling down its corridor, looking for an empty compartment. She repeated her same questions from before to Ophelia, assuming her sister was following her without bothering to actually check. If Ophelia wasn't behind her she would just look like she was talking to her imaginary friend.
Juliette snorted at the thought of people thinking she had an imaginary friend. It was likely. Most people already probably thought she was crazy. She was practically bouncing down the train, barely paying attention and before she knew it, as one would expect, she found herself crashing into another person. "Sorry!" She exclaimed, finding her head. She held her tongue from saying something sarcastic about how they should have been watching out for her. It had been her fault after all. Perhaps if it was first year she would say something. Just to scare them a little bit.

It was the same speech she gave them every year since his sister got her acceptance letter. He didn't mind it very much, even though she was almost wailing and most people on the platform were probably staring at them. His mother was a bit dramatic sometimes, but he loves her anyway. "We'll be fine mother. I promise to write to you every week." He said, as he pulled his mother into a hug.
"We are really proud that you were chosen as head boy, Elliot." Theodore started, giving his son a pat on the back. "Promise me you'll take care of your sister and make sure she doesn't get into trouble of any kind like you did before." Of course, his father would bring that up now. He let out a sigh and nodded his head. It had been years since his parents were called to the headmistress office. He had been in a fistfight in the corridor which left his opponent badly beaten up and bloody. Just thinking about it made him smile, but stopped himself as he saw his father giving him a cold look.
It took a few more minutes for him to get away from his parents. He had told them that he needed to be on the train for a prefect meeting. A meeting that wouldn't really start until three in the afternoon when they were halfway to Hogwarts, but they didn't need to know that. He gave a sly grin to his sister who was still in between their parents. Catch you later, he mouthed to his sister as he climbed in the train.
Most of the compartments were already full when Elliot got on the train. Making his way through the hallway, bumping into students, he resisted the urge to hex or push them all out of the way. He had little to no patience for this. He finally found an empty compartment and pushed the door open. He was about to step in when somebody bumped into him. He stumbled a bit, taking hold of the person who crashed into him.
He heard her apologize, but shook his head. "It's fine. It's my fault for standing here too long," He said as he saw who he was holding on to. Juliette Zabini, a sixth year Slytherin. "Sorry." He muttered awkwardly, letting her go immediately. He moved into the compartment and looked back at her. She was probably looking for a place to crash. "You can stay here if you want. Everywhere else is full anyway." Not waiting for her reply he sat down near the window. He saw his parents waving at him from a distance, he gave a small smile and a wave.

The first person she had to see was Elliot Aiden Nott. Better yet, she had heard he made headboy this year. "It's fine, it's my fault for standing here too long." He seemed awkward, and he wasn't giving her the dirty looks he usually did when Juliette did something he deemed annoying. "You can stay here if you want, Everywhere else is full anyway." Infact, he was being rather polite. Perhaps being home calmed him down.
Juliette shuffled in after him with a quick, "Sure," in reply. She sat down by the window on the opposite side of Elliot. She felt quite awkward. It wasn't necessarily that they were enemies. Being in Slytherin and having enemies in your own house in such a way was a bad idea on both sides. However, he always seemed annoyed by her actions and she didn't care too much for the temper he tended to have either. It was much better than it used to be, though. Juliette could remember some of the fights he used to get in all the time. She had even got scared before that he was going to find a way to hurt her for all her annoyances.
Juliette sat quietly staring at Elliot in awe, unaware of the look on her face or rather just the fact that she was staring. She could be a space case sometimes. It didn't matter much. She was a rather crazy person in most people's mind. It wasn't unlike her to do something such as so.
Juliette's head nodded as the train's horn blew and she finally snapped out of her fix. She muttered an apology and looked out the window. They were about to start the journey to Hogwarts. Excitement bubbled in her stomach and a huge smile worked its way over her face. "I can't wait to get to school and pick my classes." She rambled to herself. "Torment a few first years, ace my classes, it will be a good year!" Juliette looked over at Elliot. "Aren't you just so excited?" They might as well at least try to be one good terms, though she would certainly leave if she began to annoy him too much or some of his friends came to keep him company. Until then she would have to try her best. He could give out detentions now after all. She certainly didn't want anymore than she would probably end up getting on her own.
Her hands turned to fists and she put them up toward her face, moving them and her legs back and forth in a girlish fashion. She turned her thoughts directly toward Elliot. "So is it true you're head boy now?" She looked off in the distance dramatically. "A Slytherin head boy. Everyone will fear you. That must be wonderful!" She almost wished that she was a prefect and would be up for head girl the next year. However, she didn't really want all the responsibility that went with it. She enjoyed being a trouble maker too much.

684..word count... ------------------------------------------------------------------ Ophelia Zabini had lingered behind outside of King’s Cross, smoking like usual. She didn’t want to upset her mother more than needed, she already disapproved of her smoking. It was deemed dirty and unladylike. Ophelia scoffed, there were ladies that smoked. Like…that one and that other one. Her brows furrowed and she flicked her cigarette out into the parking lot and turned to walk into the train station. A small smile curled around her lips, she imagined that she was in one of those thriller movies and her lit cigarette hit a gas puddle and the parking lot exploded. How cool would that be? she thought. A small giggle escaped her lips and she rushed through the crowd, pushing her heavy trolley. Her eyes caught sight of her parents going through the barrier and she quickly followed, too much of a rush to even check for on looking muggles.
The sounds of excited students greeted her ear as she reached the other side. A smile fell across her face and she let her bags get taken for her and went to say good bye to her parents. “Mum!” She called, walking forward and wrapping her arms around the woman. “I will write to you.”
“You stay out of trouble this year, Ophelia Maura Zabini.” Her mother’s eye narrowed as she looked at her daughter. Ophelia threw her head back and let out a heavy sigh. “Don’t give me that.” Her mother grabbed her and pulled her into a hug and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. “Now go say goodbye to your father before he just leaves.” She turned away from her mom and smiled at her father. He pulled her into a hug and then shooed her away.
Ophelia boarded the train, having lost sight of her sister. Usually they sat together on the train and went their separate ways once as school. She didn’t know where her friends were, so she had to find somewhere to sit anyway. She squeezed down the packed aisle and grumbled as people stepped on her feet and bumped into her. She looked into each compartment, not finding her sister. She paused at one door, peering in to see a group of third years. “No, definitely not.”
She moved her body through the people and finally found Juliette. She pushed open the door and let out a sigh. “I thought I had lost you forever!” She exclaimed, but her voice died into a whisper when she realized there was someone else in the compartment. “Erm. Sorry for the outburst.” Her lips pursed and she took and awkward seat next to Juliette. They both had a habit of rambling nervously and it took every ounce of her not to start chattering about nonsense like the weather.
“I’m so excited for Quidditch this year!” She finally burst, hazel eyes were wide. Though her hands played with her hair absentmindedly, she didn’t notice at first. She had sat down in time to hear her ask about Elliot being head boy so she cocked her head to one side and snorted. “You’re head boy?” She laughed and then shook her head. “I’m sorry! It’s just…you have to understand…you…” Her face went beat red and she looked at her hands. Had she lost her touch over the summer. Normally she wasn’t this awkward. “Right. Sorry. Congratulations, now you can just say you beat someone up for breaking the rules.” Her usual cocky smile broke across her face. She leaned back in her seat and pulled her smokes and several other things out of her pockets and tossed them onto the seat next to her. That way when someone came that she didn’t like the seat could be taken or saved for someone better.
Ophelia felt awkward, but what was she going to do? She folded her legs up under her and sat there, perched on her seat and began rummaging in the bag she had kept with her. She pulled out her little bag of chocolates and popped one in her mouth before holding out the bag. “Anyone want one?”

[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=cellSpacing,0,true][atrb=cellPadding,10,true][atrb=style,background-image: url('http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g79/Juliart/background_black.jpg');,true][cs=2] L E A D S T O N O W H E R E | [atrb=width,240] Elliot had spent most of his summer in the ministry. His mother had pushed him into it, he didn't mind, it was something he had been thinking about when he first visited the ministry when he was younger. The internship in the department of international magical cooperation was great, but he was not yet sure if he would work for there or help his father with their business. He knew he would have to take over the business someday, but hopefully not too soon. He wanted to make a name for himself and not just be known for being Theodore Nott's heir.
He looked away from the window as the train began to move. He found Juliette staring at him and he almost scowled but bit his bottom lip instead. There was something about her that made his blood boil. He wasn't sure why, but it probably had to do with her being so weird. Her sister, Ophelia, was more tolerable than she is. He let out a sigh. His father had warned him about making enemies, especially 'family friends', which included the children of his parents classmates. He shook his head and leaned back against his seat. The ideal thing to do now was sit back, relax and ignore her for the rest of the train ride.
He was about to close his eyes and perhaps catch a few minutes of sleep when Ophelia barged into the compartment. He shrugged as the girl apologized and sat beside her sister. Of course, these two had something else in mind, as Juliette had started talking to about school and Ophelia about quidditch. He tilted his head to the side and gave a shrug. He wasn't much for small talks but it didn't hurt to at least try and behave himself and act a bit interested. It was his last year and his father had told him to make the best of it. "I'm more excited of finishing this year and going out to the 'real world'." He said, his fingers fiddling with the hem of his robe. Both girls before him were oozing out excitement and he couldn't help but chuckle.
Both Juliette and Ophelia had something to say about him being head boy. He didn't really care of what they thought about it. But it was out of the ordinary. In the past few years, no slytherin had been chosen as head. But he knew he deserved the title more than anyone in his year. He pulled out the badge and showed the two, a smirk forming on his lips. "I can't really beat people up for breaking the rules, they'll investigate and most likely take the badge away. I can only give out warnings or detentions. I'm not sure about house points though." Elliot watched as Ophelia search through her bag and pulled out a small bag of chocolates. He wasn't a fan of sweets and politely declined as she held it out.

[atrb=border,0,true] | [atrb=border,0,true][style=width:400px;height:190px;padding-right:5px; text-align:justify;font-family:arial; font-size:9px; line-height:80%; overflow:auto;] Juliette was surprised to see her sister burst through the compartment door. She thought she had lost her and had assumed that Ophelia had gone off to be with her friends. She put a huge grin on her face as she said, "We both can be much too loud. I don't know why you are the most tolerable one though!" She added the last part for humor, hoping her sister wouldn't take it wrong. It was much more of a burn on Juliette's own part though, so she didn't know why Ophelia would.
Ophelia was Juliette's twin. They looked nothing alike, but they were born on the same day, at the same time, and out of the same womb. Nonetheless, they were twins. When they were younger they seemed like they were almost the same exact person, as most twins would, but once they got to Hogwarts and started hanging out with different people they began to go their own ways.
Juliette wrinkled her nose as the word quidditch left her sister's mouth. It's not that she specifically disliked quidditch, but any time it was mentioned she could only imagine being at such dangerously high heights and then falling. She hated the idea of falling to her doom.
Juliette crossed her legs and leaned against the window as the subject changed to Elliot's head boy status. She was a tad jealous of him becoming head boy. There was something about being in charge that rattled her taste, but she was never really one for responsibility. She knew almost exactly what she would be doing once she left Hogwarts, and that required a large amount of responsibility, but for now she was still a teenager and she wanted to do what she wanted.
As she denied Ophelia's offer she opened her mouth to comment on what Elliot had just said. "I heard you that you could dock house points, but that may just be a rumor." She continued to sit awkwardly. There was such a weird air about the compartment that Juliette didn't really know what to do or what to say. Juliette and Ophelia already knew about each other's summers and Elliot seemed uninterested in anything. It seemed rather rude. She wanted so bad just to stand up and kick him. Maybe then he would act like a normal human being.
Juliette blew her hair out of her face and crossed her arms, not realizing how weird it would seem from Ophelia and Elliot's point of view for her sudden change in mood. She looked out the window again, there wasn't much to see. It was the same view every train ride. "It would be cool if the train magically took a different route each train ride," she said out loud rather stubbornly. "If they had seven different ways, everyone could have a new view every year." She left it at that. She was probably making the compartment even more uncomfortable than it already was.

442..word count... ------------------------------------------------------------------ Ophelia looked at her sister and shrugged. “I don’t really think I am any more tolerable than you.” She put her chocolate away and leaned back in her seat, listening to the two of them. She really didn’t have anything interesting to say. Nor did she really feel like engaging in conversation. She could enjoy the train ride in silence. Perhaps she should have ventured on to find an empty compartment to sit in. Ophelia had noticed her sister’s disgusted look at the mention of quidditch, but ignored it. She liked sports, she liked the thrill of it.
“Well, I would assume that they would leave house points up to the heads of houses. I don’t think a student would be trusted with that kind of power.” Her voice was rather monotone, she was bored already. “I think it is just a rumor Sissy, I don’t remember any of the Head Boys or Girls being able to do that in the previous years and I got caught by them on numerous occasions.” She shrugged and offered a small smile. “It would be interesting if you could though.” Her hazel eyes lingered on the window and beyond it. She watched the changing landscape, the meadows, and the soft rolling hills.
She wished it was raining. Cloudy days were the best, the smell of the rain enhancing the scents of flowers and trees. Ophelia let her face fall from her small smile and shrugged again. “I think the scenery is comforting. It is familiar and I know where I’m going when I see it.” She sighed and fiddled with her hair some more. “I suppose it would be interesting if we could take a path filled with tunnels and going over mountains and such. I would have loved that when I was younger.”
She didn’t really feel rude for not speaking directly to Elliot. She didn’t feel that he really was too worried about making small talk. Though, if they were going to be stuck together this whole time she might as well enjoy herself. That left several options. Reading, napping, or talking, since her window seat was taken and she couldn’t just stare through the glass. “We should have a celebration when we get to Hogwarts. A private party, but not just Slytherins, I get bored with them. We can have a little fun,” She smiled and raised her brows before eyeing Elliot wearily. “You’re not going to be all righteous and turn me in are you?” She asked, a bit of a sour tone dipping into her voice. “I mean if it makes you feel better you can be invited.” She grinned.
