This is the canon list, the key is below, and please follow it. If you don't like something, like the age or the house of a character check with an admin. We are usually more than willing to change it.

When picking a character make sure you go through the entire list and find all the relatives. If you look at the parents last names you will probably find a few relatives. I know there are tons of Weasleys, Delacures, Goldsteins and Patils, to name a few. We want you to do this so you know who your character is related too and who to mention in the application.

Also, if your character has any relatives who have already been claimed, go through the applications of the already made characters. See what has been said about your character and work from there.
